This global design concept drives the big idea and overall aesthetic of all campuses, creating a consistency and reinforcing the Calvary brand across various locations. However, each campus possesses a distinct regionality, bringing unique nuances from the area while servicing the specific cultural demographic. Throughout floorplans and internal documents, these areas are called out as Regional Components and guidance will be given towards each location.

Light levels throughout the campus correspond to the level of intimacy, with bright and welcoming lighting in lobbies and more ambient lighting used in private areas. For functionality and versatility, lights can be dimmed in key areas. In each environment, materials and heights of ceiling elements reinforce the level of intimacy while aiding wayfinding for new visitors. Aspects of storytelling message the culture and values of Calvary while giving visual interest and pops of color to corridors and other public spaces. Both framed art and sculptural pieces provide messaging opportunities while also offering instagrammable moments.

Calvary’s reception area sets tone for the overall look and feel of the entire campus. This brightly lit environment offers a variety of comfortable seating areas. Ocean inspired hues, earth tones and lush botanicals combine within this space, reinforcing Calvary’s origination within South Florida.

The Banquet Hall and it’s surrounding areas is more of a neutral backdrop, providing an elegant environment to host a variety of both professional and personal events. The tropical theme continues throughout these areas but in a more subtle way. Materials are selected based on durability and maintenance to allow the areas to stand the test of time. Storage and focal walls are provided in key areas to allow innovative solutions and a clean, modern presentation while concealing additional furniture and supporting event planning elements.

Calvary’s new Global Design serves as a foundation to be implemented across all locations, providing a beacon of comfort and joy for everyone that encounters them.
