COLONNADE PARK

A tweak to the ever-popular farmhouse aesthetic, Colonnade Park is inspired by both Old Florida and the traditional boathouse.  Dusty blues, rich wood tones, and lush greenery mix throughout this project producing an interior that charms and inspires.  

Catering to a mature demographic, the tone for the interior design is set by the facades’ architectural details, where stacked stone and wooden corbels give character to the entry.  Upon entering, an expansive community room offers a variety of seating options for gathering with friends, family, and neighbors.  At the back of the room, a fully functional kitchen provides the ability to host large gatherings, of course while maintaining proper social distancing.  Light and airy in nature, sunlight streams through translucent curtains framing large picture paned windows.  Highlighting the gabled roof, wood trusses add contrast to the beadboard ceiling.  Details within this space give a nostalgic nod with encaustic painted tiles and schoolhouse stylestyled lighting. 

Nearby, the library provides a quiet retreat for residents.  Comfy lounge chairs encourage you to curl up and read a book.  A work surface spans across a slate blue wall, with ample lighting and electrical connections, offering a place to land with a laptop.  Botanical accents add to the friendliness of the room, connecting to the surrounding environment. 

Venturing further into the property you’ll find the game room, where board games and foosball allow residents to let their hair down and enjoy themselves.  The showstopper of the room is a dynamic moss wall with a layering of various types of plants.  Overhead sputnik stylestyled chandeliers add fun and charm with their amber glow.  The lights are hung high enough to allow different configurations in the furniture, providing flexibility to the various entertaining styles of residents.
