COMPLETED FALL 2021
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA
In our second endeavor with digital retail giant, reCommerce, our team designed the Deerfield Beach headquarters. A triple height lobby welcomes employees and visitors to the office with the reCommerce logo nestled amongst a wall of botanicals. On the opposite wall, people are urged to SEIZE THE DAY by Peter Tunney’s oversized artwork. Tunney was the first tenant of the iconic Wynwood sector of Miami. These two entry walls frame a viewpoint of the main conference room. This conference space and other meeting rooms are housed at the core of the floorplan and are accentuated by a multifaceted blue portal.
Playing on their primary core value of “Dig Deeper”, a wall of techy blue shovels can be seen from the entry. The focal element of their primary meeting space is a ying-yang mix of glass and drywall. Situated along the perimeter, open work areas have the opportunity to capture the most natural light. Pops of vibrant green provide additional biophilic nods in the materiality of the floor and the storage employees’ storage cushions. Environmental graphics enhance the company’s brand on the outer walls.
A plethora of amenities exist in the rear of the workspace, towards the warehouse that fuels the engine of the company. Expansive restrooms are located to the south and a large break space is located to the north. In between, employees have the opportunity to work within the serenity of a salt spa.
Supporting the wellness of the team, the material selections and layout of the reCommerce office space provide an environment that inspires productivity and camaraderie.
