We love when a new client discovers JTI organically, through our public work in the community or through our efforts in digital marketing. Our connection with this contact was already reinforced by a working relationship with the Client’s architect.
Dr. Carson Kutuchief built his physical therapy practice with a holistic approach toward patient care and healing. SoFloPT Sport focuses on rehabilitation with a bend toward sports medicine. Their curated approach is individualistic in nature, as one size never fits all with muscular healing. Dr. Kutuchief craved a space that was warm and industrial but also catered to the discerning client with a sophisticated look. He was very involved in the design process, collaborating with our team throughout the project's life.
The interior design concept for SoFloPT Sport provides a center of refined elegance, with warm woods, mixed metals and edgy nuances. The expansive floor plan offers a broad viewpoint for therapists that work with multiple clients simultaneously. Both clients and staff enjoy the benefits of natural light with floor to ceiling windows wrapping the perimeter of the building. Light bounces throughout the space via reflective details, with absorption by the exposed black ceiling overhead and oversized concrete tiles on the floor.
At the entry visitors are immediately greeted by an expansive reception desk reminiscent of an upscale hotel lobby more than a rehabilitation facility. Comprised of stone and gold, this desk offers a central hub for operations while setting the tone for the level of service that you can expect from SoFloPT Sport. Playful pendants suspend above it, adding a delicate sparkle in contrast to the vast selection of fitness machines available. Near reception, a moody staircase grounds the entire space where dynamic strips of light beckon people to travel upwards.
All auxiliary areas continue the boutique vibe with lounge seating, a chic public restroom and an inviting consultation space. By venturing to the rooftop, clients can be further surprised by the fully functional bootcamp fitness space provided in open air. SoFloPT is not just about healing injuries and providing the guidance in rehabilitation, they promote transformational change and this facility is set up to support Dr. Kutuchief and his staff in their efforts.
