For every project we create environments that consider each clients’ unique statement, financial ability and functional concerns. We are available and accessible for our clients along the entire process of a project, providing turn-key services when requested. The quality of our work is reflected in the finished project exceeding the expectations.
Here is an overview of the 5 phases for our interior design process.

A COLLABORATIVE CONVERSATION
A JTI Interior Designer will meet with you to walk the project site to gain an understanding of your vision and the necessary scope of work to complete your project.

PHASE 1
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
This phase consists of gathering information and developing an in-depth understanding of the Client’s goals. This process begins with an intensive exchange of information. In this phase the Designer creates a preliminary layout and mood board based on the Client’s direction.

PHASE 2
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Designer will create a concept for the interior that correlates with the Client’s vision. Designer will further translate all of the information that has been gathered into additional sketches, design concepts and interior renderings.

PHASE 3
DESIGN DOCUMENTATION
Designer will further develop the design concept into design intent drawings that convey the vision to both the Client and the Clients Architect. These drawings are referred to as Design Documents (“DDs”) and in no means whatsoever are meant to serve as construction documents. The purpose of this phase is for the Architect to incorporate the DD’s into the permit set for the Project.

PHASE 4
PURCHASING
This phase includes the procurement of the furnishings of the project. Designer will define each item to be purchased, based on the design direction and budget established by Client and offer a high level idea of pricing.

PHASE 5
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Designer will observe the construction progress and determine if it is translating the Client’s vision into the built environment.
