The Commonwealth Institute (TCI), together with its research partner Kaufman Rossin, announced that Jewel Toned Interiors was a part of the 16th annual Top Women-Led Businesses in Florida list, recognizing the honorees during a virtual event. These awards honored 75 for-profit and non-profit as well as 5 startup organizations.
This annual award highlights women business leaders who are making a significant impact on the state’s economy.
“On behalf of TCI, I offer my heartfelt congratulations to all of our Top Women honorees,” said TCI Florida Chapter Executive Director Jacqui Kiviat. “This is an exciting time at TCI, as we build increased programming and support for more women in business leadership roles and their businesses throughout Florida.”
This is the 16th year that TCI – a nonprofit organization devoted to advancing women in leadership positions – created the list through a research nomination process and reviewed both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. The full list will be published in a research report written by Kaufman Rossin, to be published this month on kaufmanrossin.com.
From our Founder, Joy Lynskey:
“It’s been a sink or swim year for businesses,” Joy said. “But it’s encouraging to see how the team we’ve built rises to the occasion and supports one another.”
“To become a great business leader, you must lead within your own community,” Joy said. “I’m honored that Jewel Toned Interiors is being acknowledged amongst other businesses led by leaders I really respect. They are amazing leaders in their own right, and just happen to be women as well.”
“My partner Jaclyn and I lead our team between the four walls of Jewel Toned Interiors, but leading within the community is ingrained in our company culture,” Joy said. “The timing of this award could not come at a better time given the tumultuous year we’ve faced.”
